| @?? ?? ?? I am sorry for the money you lost to scammers, but know that the money money send across, the more you lose. The email you received never originated from ICPC. Scammers can fake ICPC email address and send you an email, but they will never tell you to reply them with the ICPC email, because if you reply it will end up in ICPC server. That is why they told yoy to reply them with icpcdesk@i.ua this is not ICPC domain, any email you are corresponding outside @icpc.gov.ng is not genuine. Please, stop sending any money to them, they are not from ICPC. Anybody can send you email and say he/she is from ICPC, if the person is from ICPC, send him/her an email to his/her name@icpc.gov.ng and not icpcdesk@i.ua please @i.ua is not icpc domain. And I repeat, ICPC does not collect money to investigate or do anything for you. ICPC is funded by the Nigerian Governemnt. Thanks |

| hello admin.. let me tell you this.. i received an mail FROM THE DESK OF INVESTIGATION DEPARTMENT,INDEPENDENT CORRUPT PRACTICE COMMISSION (ICPC). and the email address from this mail was as follow (info@icpc.com) and the address from this ICPC was.. MAITAMA - ABUJA, NIGERIA.P.O.BOX 4587. and in the mail there was another mail address and also a name... the email address was... icpcdesk@i.ua and the name from this man from the ICPC was... PROF. JOHNSON OWEL, i have sent too this man an amount of 690 for stamp on the document what was in the file like he told me.. in the mail from the ICPC was written as follow... YOU HAVE BEEN APPROVED WITH US$500,000 (FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND UNITED STATES DOLLARS) AS A COMPENSATION FUNDS FOR YOUR LOSS. THEREFORE YOU ARE REQUIRED TO CONTACT THE HEAD, VERIFICATION UNIT, PROF. JOHNSON OWEL, AT icpcdesk@i.ua FOR CONFIRMATION AND ALLOCATION OF PAYING BANK... so and now he came too me and told me too sent another 2900usd dollar.. and i had already pay 690 usd. now you say that the ICPC never asked money from the victims but you peoples there from the ICPC asked me also for money.. i have showed this man that i lost enough money and that !! because of this scam, i got a lot of debts.. if the ICPC never asked for money then tell me why did this man promise me that i just needed too pay 690 for the documents and too get a stamp on this.. if i had pay this money i received again an mail from this man he asked me too look around for another 2900usd dollar. and too be honest i even still wait too receive this money what the ICPC says in the mail.. just ask to sent money and nothing else.. i even not care what you told here.. but the fact is. i have debts here and i lost all my money what i have worked hard for and even the money what i borrow by the bank.. i have give the prove too this man but if the ICPC would care then they .. and now too ask money before we as victims receive the money back what we have lost on scammers there in nigeria... please don't say something in a mail and make a good message.. but keep also a promise and then leave a message what we read here... again.. i will say this too the ICPC don't ask money from victims.. and if you peoples promise an amount of money what we as victims have loose on scammers there.. then keep this promise because the ICPC will have a bad name and not the victims.. |

| Hello Everyone, ICPC does not compensate anybody, whether scammed victim or not. Note, ICPC does not compensate any scammed victim. If you received an email puported to have originated from ICPC for any form of compensation, know that you are being scammed again by scammers. If you check the header part of that email, you will know it was not originated from ICPC. Even if they faked the icpc email address, they will never tell you to reply them with the icpc.gov.ng email, they will surely direct you to reply them with a free email account like yahoo, gmail etc Pls, NOTE: ICPC DOES NOT COMPENSATE SCAMMED VICTIMS AND ICPC DOES NOT COLLECT MONEY NO MATTER HOW LITTLE TO INVESTIGATE A CASE. If anyone tells you that, you are in for another scam. please run. |

| hello.. i would like too say this too the ICPC.. this company working not serious if someone was a victim of a scam.. the ICPC say too the peoples every time,, do not sent any amount of money too someone that ask for money.. but now the funny thing is this.. even the ICPC promise an amount of money too the one that was a victim of a scam.. i am a victim of scam and i lost a lot of money.. i asked the ICPC for help and they told me that they would help me too get my money back in 48 hours because i have showed them the proves of my lost money and i even give them the details from the one that scammed on me.. but what this ICPC not told me is that i need too pay an amount of 4500usd too.. i have already pay 690usd for a lawyer there too get a stamp on my document..and this person from the ICPC told me that i just needed too pay 690usd and he even give me a guarantee that this was all what i needed too pay.. so and now he came too me and told me that i needed too pay a amount of 4500usd. it was a lie this ICPC never pay a amount of money if someone is or was a victim of a scam.. even the ICPC is corrupt and the ICPC is scamming also like a lot of peoples in nigeria are doing there.. they just eat money from peoples from another country.. and they just tell lies in the mail too help and too sent the money back if someone loose money.... i would like too say this too the ICPC please stop too be a corrupt company and stop too promise the victims promises too help them too get the money back, and don't ask the victims also for money and then there will be nothing too see from the promise.. its just a corrupt and a fake company that is even not good organise.. IF SOMEONE NEED HELP AND WOULD LIKE TOO REPORT A SCAM OR A CRIME.. PLEASE DON'T MAIL THIS ICPC AND DON'T ASK THEM TOO HELP YOU. THIS COMPANY ASK ALSO LIKE THE SCAMMERS ARE DOING FOR MONEY AND EAT THE MONEY FROM PEOPLES FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY.. SO PLEASE THINK GOOD BEFORE YOU ASK THIS BAD ORGANISE COMPANY FROM THE ICPC.. GOD BLES AND PROTECT ALL THE VICTIMS AND PANISH THE SCAMMERS THERE IN THIS PLACE NIGERIA THAT EVEN NOT HAVE A GOVERNMENT.. |

| It is hard at times who is scamming who. I Have recently found out, you do not even trust the U.S. government.they still control movements of people. It is surprizing how they want a share of the action. I have received emails form soldiers looking to move money from overseas to a safe place.I have noticed being a soldier in North America they have no restrictions up on what they can carry overses. |

| I am so pleased that there are agencies in Nigeria that are doing something to combat the gross corruption there. This cannot be an easy task for you! Even simply making the people aware of the effects of corruption, like you are doing, is a good thing. Little by little, honest folks will gain the courage to speak out and stand against corruption. Given Nigeria's long history of corruption, ridding it of gross corruption will not happen in a day, but will take a few years. Please do not give up! This is a fight that is not for the faint-hearted. What you are doing is much appreciated by those of us who want to live honestly before GOD. It encourages us, and stimulates us with ideas of our own to tackle the corruption that we may come across in our daily lives. I wish your organisation, and all other anti-corruption agencies, fighting for the survival and good of Nigeria, continued success through 2010 and beyond. |
